Matthew Frank is an analyst for Open Nuclear Network (ONN), a programme of One Earth Future, where his research focuses on the use of machine learning methods for forecasting political events. Mr. Frank uses GIS and spatial data analysis tools in his analysis of political events on ONN's Datayo platform. He also writes policy pieces on political violence, elections and nuclear weapons.
He previously worked as a graduate research assistant at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures and as a Spanish language tutor at the Center for World Languages and Cultures, both at the University of Denver. He also interned at the Brooking Institution’s Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence and the Texas Division of Emergency Management.
He holds a Master’s degree in international security from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in international studies and Spanish.
